Green Day will celebrate the release of its upcoming “Revolution Radio” album with a rare club tour, including a stop at Webster Hall in Manhattan.
Tickets for the Webster Hall show on Oct. 8, the day after the album hits stores, will go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. for fans who are selected by lottery at the Webster Hall website. Green Day fan club members can buy presale tickets starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday through Idiot Nation.
The band’s 12th studio album, “Revolution Radio,” is inspired by the current politically charged times and includes the hard-hitting first single, the punk romp “Bang Bang.”
The club tour runs from Sept. 20 in St. Louis to Oct. 20 in their home base of Berkeley, California.
