It'll be an '80s-palooza this summer at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater when New Wave icon Howard Jones brings his "Things Can Only Get Better" tour to Wantagh on Aug. 20.
Sharing the bill with Jones ("What Is Love?," "No One Is to Blame") will be Wang Chung ("Dance Hall Days," "Everybody Have Fun Tonight"), The English Beat ("Mirror in the Bathroom," "Save It for Later") and Modern English ("I Melt With You").
Jones, 71, personally curated the lineup for the tour, which he's hoping to make an annual event.
"I’ve always dreamed of curating a tour with my favorite bands that could bring some positivity in our troubled times," Jones said in a statement. "I’m thrilled that this is actually happening this summer and I’m so excited to be touring with these amazing talents. Our aim is to bring some joy with the banging pop anthems that we all know and love. The tour offers a message of hope for a future that we can create, when we stand up for the world we want to live in."
General-public tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
