If only The Beatles could come together again
We still love them, yeah, yeah.
A poll in the new issue of Vanity Fair reports that The Beatles are the No. 1 defunct act that Americans would most like to see in concert.
Next up in the never-gonna-happen hit parade: Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Mozart.
The poll, conducted for the magazine and CBS' "60 Minutes," rated Americans' interests and attitudes (driving slowly in the fast lane was the behavior most people said they found annoying).
In other celebrity-related questioning, 25 percent of respondents said they would want Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to raise their kids if something happened to them. Other star parents, in descending order: Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (!).
And since it seems everyone has a reality show, get this: three-quarters of the 1,137 people polled by phone last month by the CBS News Election and Survey Unit said they did not think their life was interesting enough to be given a reality show.
