The new Yankee Stadium announced its first official concert Wednesday. The show, scheduled for Sept. 13, will be a doubleheader - with rap superstars Jay-Z and Eminem performing.

"We are thrilled that two of today's most exciting music artists will headline the first-ever concert at Yankee Stadium," said chief operating officer Lonn Trost. "Yankee Stadium was built with this kind of mega-event in mind. It will undoubtedly be a memorable occasion for music fans around the world."

This may be the new stadium's first-ever concert, but it's not Jay-Z's first visit to the Yankees' home turf. The rapper performed at the stadium before Game Two of the World Series in October.

Jay-Z and Eminem's Sept. 13 concert will actually be the second of a pair of shows for Brooklyn-native Jay-Z and Eminem, who was raised in Detroit. The pair will also perform at Detroit's Comerica Park Sept. 2. Ticket information is not yet available.
