Jeff LeBlanc has become a road warrior.

The “Lost Tonight” singer-songwriter has toured with everyone from Boz Scaggs to Chris Isaak, sharing stages with everyone from Tori Kelly to Chris Stapleton. And he says his tours of college campuses have taught him how to win over any crowd. “I like being stuck in unusual situations,” LeBlanc says, calling from a tour stop in Hartford, Connecticut.

But for the Center Moriches native, there’s no place like home and hometown shows like his appearance at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday.

Why is the Westhampton Beach show so important to you?

Being a Long Island kid, it still brings back memories being there. From the age of 18 to 23, I was waiting tables and after work I would go down and busk near there every weekend.

You must have liked it to do it for that long.

We were making money. And I learned a lot about performing from doing it, dealing with people yelling at you on the street and communicating with these people as they were walking by.

Will you be doing something special at the show?

Well, I mostly do solo work. … But my band will be some players I have never played with before. It will be new and a way for someone who saw the first show to feel like they’re at a different show.

And you’re working on new music?

My last single [“Way You Are”] was a bit more Justin Timberlake meets Frank Ocean. I loved the production on that, but I like to mix things up. I think the next song will be more like Dawes or Amos Lee with limited production.

Your plan is to just focus on singles now?

Being on my own label, it’s easier to just let people know that there’s a new song when it’s done. … And I got a little bit caught up with life. My girlfriend just moved in, so I’ve been trying to make money to pay for a couch and not an album.
