Jimmy Buffett to play Jones Beach

Though we’re still in between snowstorms, Jimmy Buffett is doing his part to generate some summer daydreaming by announcing an Aug. 21 show at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.

Part of his “This One’s for You” tour, Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band are still promoting his “Songs from St. Somewhere” album.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate summer than with Jimmy Buffett back at the Beach,” said Live Nation New York President Jason Miller in a statement. “We are looking forward to another extraordinary night with Jimmy on Long Island.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 through Ticketmaster. There is an eight ticket limit per customer.
