Joan Jett, Heart, Cheap Trick set for Jones Beach

The Rock Hall Three for All tour — featuring Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and newly inducted Cheap Trick — is set to take over Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on July 28.

Long Beach’s Jett has been an important part of the past two Rock Hall ceremonies — performing with the surviving members of Nirvana in 2014 for their induction and for her own induction last year. It’s not clear whether Jett will be involved in Cheap Trick’s induction ceremony on April 8 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, along with Chicago, Deep Purple, Steve Miller and N.W.A.

However, she will certainly see a lot of the “Surrender” rockers this summer on the 30-date tour that starts July 14 in Clarkston, Michigan. And Jett’s tour with Heart kicks off even earlier, starting March 7 in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
