Joe Jonas will celebrate the release of his new album, "Music for People Who Believe in Love," with an in-store appearance at 5 p.m. on May 28 at West Babylon's Looney Tunes Records.
The store says that this will be a photo op only, meaning participants will have their picture taken with Jonas and it will then be posted on Looney Tunes' Facebook page. There will be no autograph signing or performance.
The store also noted that participants will need to purchase the new CD or LP from Looney Tunes in order to get a wristband to attend the event. Only those with wristbands can attend.
"Music for People Who Believe in Love," Jonas' second solo album, is set to be released on May 23 via Republic Records.
On the first single released from the album, “Work It Out,” the boy band brother breaks the fourth wall in the third person. “Come on, Joe, you got so much more to be grateful for,” he sings in a rare moment of pop candor. His characteristic cheekiness soon follows. “Even baddies get saddies and that’s the hardest truth,” he sings atop a cheery pop-synth rhythm. The album promises more alt-pop — with country and rock flair thrown in for good measure.
