Actor-musician Johnny Depp, who has jammed with Jeff Beck on occasional shows and released an album with him in July, will perform on the rock legend's previously announced North American tour, including two dates at The Paramount in Huntington.

Depp joins Beck on Oct. 4 in Washington, D.C., and continues to the tour's end Nov. 12 in Reno, Nevada. The 29-date tour opens Sept. 23 outside Austin, Texas, with opening acts Ann Wilson, formerly of Heart, and ZZ Top. Following two more dates with them, Beck has a final three with ZZ Top and then a solo date before Depp joins him as co-performer.

The duo is scheduled to play The Paramount Oct. 14 and 15. Tickets are $59.50 to $149.50 at Ticketmaster.com, with VIP packages at $249.

Depp, 59, has performed with Beck, 78, at least a half-dozen times on the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer's recent U.K. tour, including in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, on May 29 while awaiting the jury decision in his defamation lawsuit against his actor ex-wife Amber Heard.

Beck and Depp together released the album "18" on July 15. The collaboration of mostly covers, including Lou Reed's "Venus in Furs" and John Lennon's "Isolation," features a co-written original as well as a song by Depp and another composer, "This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr."

Eight-time Grammy Award winner Beck is one of rock's most storied and influential guitarists, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice, first in 1992 as a member of the Yardbirds and then as a solo performer in 2009.

Depp has long been a musician, and formed his occasional group Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry. In addition to recording with Beck, Depp plays guitar and appears in Paul McCartney's 2012 music video for "My Valentine." Both Depp and Jericho-raised Academy Award winner Natalie Portman appear in an alternate official music video for the song.

Neither Depp nor Beck has commented on social media.
