Journey and Billy Idol coming to UBS Arena

Cue "Don’t Stop Believin’ " -- Journey is returning to Long Island. After their triumphant Jones Beach performance at the Sept. 11 20th anniversary "Never Forget Concert" last summer, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will bring their "Freedom Tour 2022" to UBS Arena at Belmont Park in Elmont on Feb. 25 with special guest Billy Idol.
"It’s that time — time to get back to where we are used to being — on stage!" said Journey guitarist/founder Neal Schon in a statement. "We are looking forward to shifting into high gear and bringing you the best show possible. The band is running on all 12 cylinders and very excited! Please come and join us once again for an evening full of rocking stage connection fun. See you soon friends."
Idol added, "Touring next year with Journey is going to be great fun! An epic night you won’t want to miss. I’m excited to get back to so many wonderful cities and I’m bringing [guitarist] Steve Stevens and the rest of the Billy Idol band with me!"
Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. However, a presale will be held for Citi cardmembers from Tuesday at 10 a.m. through Thursday by 10 p.m. For more information, visit: ubsarena.com.
