Justin Bieber is betting big that fans will believe in his "Purpose."
Even before his comeback album is released Friday, the "What Do You Mean?" singer has announced a massive tour to support the album. The "Purpose World Tour" starts March 9 in Seattle and the American leg ends July 18 at Madison Square Garden, with a two-night stint at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on May 4 and 5 tucked into the middle.
Tickets for all the shows go on sale Nov. 20 through AEG at AEGlive.com. American Express cardholders can start purchasing pre-sale tickets at noon Monday.
Bieber, 21, made the announcement during his "Ellen" appearance Wednesday, though he forgot the launch date. "It's the only thing I had to remember," he said, laughing, before asking for help from Ellen DeGeneres and people off-camera to no avail. "You can go to my website to find out . . . What am I doing? I'm here to promote an album and a tour and I'm not doing any of that."
Also on "Ellen" Wednesday, Bieber hugged it out with actor Seth Rogen, a fellow Canadian. Rogen, 33, told DeGeneres the two had made up after the actor in 2014 and earlier this year called Bieber "some really mean things on social media for no real reason. . . . I finally saw him today in the hallway of your show and I guess we made up, which is fantastic. It's all my fault, it's all just because I decided to be mean one day for no reason whatsoever."
Bieber eventually appeared onstage while Rogen was talking to DeGeneres and the two shared a hug to applause from the audience.
