Kiss announces farewell tour

Time is running out for rocking and rolling all night and partying every day.
Yes, Kiss announced Wednesday night that they plan to retire following one last go-round, the “End of the Road World Tour.”
“This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t,” Kiss said in a statement. “KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in . . . Unapologetic and unstoppable.”
The band didn’t release any other details about the tour, other than it likely will last for more than a year.
Of course, Kiss has bid farewell before. In 2000, they announced plans to call it quits, though Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons returned to touring two years later. That tour did mark the end of Kiss touring with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.
Kiss said it will announce tour dates and other plans in a few weeks.
