Lady Gaga will finally minister to Long Island’s little monsters on their home turf at a Nassau Coliseum show scheduled for April 23.

According to the announcement, the show is part of an extension of Gaga’s “Monster Ball” tour, a New York-themed extravaganza that’s structured as a Broadway musical. However, by then, her new album “Born This Way” – a title she revealed onstage, while wearing the infamous meat dress, at the MTV Video Music Awards after she won the “Video of the Year” award for “Bad Romance” – is expected to be out, so maybe the tour will feature some new stuff as well.

At this point, it’s hard to tell since everything (including a release date) about “Born This Way” is kept under wraps, doled out only in 140-character bits to The Queen of Twitter’s followers. Scissor Sisters is set to open.

Tickets are $53-$178.50 through Ticketmaster and go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 4. Citi Private Pass members get access to tickets at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Or find tickets right now at New York Tickets Online.
