Lindenhurst's Pat Benatar and her husband Neil Giraldo wrote "Christmas in America" in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, but the uplifting anthem of unity is timeless. When we talked about her new autobiography "Between a Heart and a Rock Place," earlier this year, Benatar told me how she didn't think she'd be able to sing during her first concert after the attacks. But she said she told the crowd about her apprehension and the entire show turned into a sing-along. "We made it through together," she said.
