HOT SONG
The weirdest thing about Blake Shelton's version of "Footloose" (Atlantic), from the upcoming remake of the '80s movie smash, is that he did it at all. Shelton, in the middle of a breakthrough year between "The Voice" and his "Red River Blue" album, seemed too smart to get caught in this no-win situation. Instead, he offers a faithful, if twangier, version of the Kenny Loggins original that yields nothing new aside from the way he says, "evabody cut, evabody cut." Is that really a reason?
