Tickets for the gala are $50 and $75 through the Paramount box office or paramountny.com.

Long Island Music Hall of Famer Dee Snider will receive the 2012 Harry Chapin Award and perform from his “Dee Does Broadway” album. Robert W. Krueger will be honored as Music Educator of the Year.

“This special event is an important step in the building of this Island’s newest music museum, educational center and home for our rich music heritage,” said James Faith, the Hall of Fame's board chairman.
