Lupe Fiasco is making nostalgia sound so good again with his new single "Old School Love" (Atlantic).
Lupe professes his love of "late '80s-early '90s old school" with his rhymes and with the spare, R&B-tinged beats, though the smoothest bit is Ed Sheeran singing the catchy but laid-back hook, "As long as I'm here, as long as you love me, give me that old school love right now."
It's that memorable chorus that is going to kick-push this right up the pop charts.
