Mariah Carey fans, Mimi has good news and bad news for you.

The good news is that the Greenlawn native will be performing at a free concert in Central Park with the New York Philharmonic on July 13, as part of the city’s celebration of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game at Citi Field on July 16. Though the show is free, tickets are required and will be available at allstargame.com/concert starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The New York Phil will perform a set of New York-themed music and a set of baseball themed music, including Randy Newman’s suite from “The Natural,” before Carey joins them for a set of her hits.

Now, the bad news: Her upcoming album “The Art of Letting Go,” originally set for a July 23 release, has been pushed back to an unspecified date.

“While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don't feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23,” Carey tweeted.

It’s a weird delay, considering the first single “#Beautiful” is already at No. 15 on the pop charts and Carey has already set up high-profile promotional appearances – at the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and the MLB’s Central Park show.

“I'd rather not exclude meaningful songs,” Carey explained on Twitter. “I want to give you this album as it's meant to be heard. When I'm ready, you'll be the first 2 know!”
