Mariah Carey will focus the launch of her new album “Caution” in Manhattan, with a pop-up installation at Sony Square opening Friday and a Times Square concert on “Good Morning America” Monday.
The Greenlawn native will appear at “The Mariah Carey Experience” at Sony Square, 25 Madison Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Friday to sign copies of “Caution.” Fans who purchase the album at Sony Square starting at 10 a.m. Friday will get a wristband that grants admission for the signing while supplies last.
“The Mariah Carey Experience” — which includes a pop-up shop, multimedia displays, memorabilia and Carey-themed photo sets — will remain open until Dec. 4.
And fans are already revving up for Carey’s “Caution” release. On Tuesday, Carey’s Lambily [what Carey calls her fans] purchased enough copies of the soundtrack to Carey’s 2001 movie “Glitter” to push it into the Top 50 of the albums chart and the Top 10 of the iTunes soundtracks chart.
