Megan Thee Stallion to perform at Billboard Music Awards

Hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion and rock stalwarts the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be among the acts performing at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
The producers and NBC, which will air the awards live on May 15, announced the first round of performers Tuesday, including Latino singer-songwriter Rauw Alejandro, Nigerian pop star Burna Boy and rapper Latto. As previously announced, Mary J. Blige, this year's Billboard Icon Award recipient, also will perform.
Broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and also streaming live on Peacock, the awards are open to the public, with tickets starting at $90 at axs.com. The trade magazine Billboard's music awards honor "the year's most successful artists in 62 categories across all genres of music."
