ANAHEIM, Calif. — Grammy winner Miley Cyrus is entering another chapter in a career that has moved through pop, rock, country and alternative music. “Bass Persuades” follows her 2025 album “Something Beautiful” and marks her first release for Atlantic Records.
The new album will also arrive after a major few years for Cyrus. Her 2023 single “Flowers” earned her the first Grammy wins of her career, taking home record of the year and best pop solo performance in 2024. She followed those wins with another Grammy in 2025 for “II Most Wanted,” her collaboration with Beyoncé.
Cyrus has also continued to honor the influence of her late godmother Dolly Parton, with whom she shared a decades-long personal and musical relationship. The pair collaborated numerous times over the years, including co-hosting “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” and performing together on several occasions.
