Miley Cyrus to attend MTV Video Music Awards

With memories still fresh of her controversial, twerk-filled performance at last year's MTV Video Music Awards, Miley Cyrus is slated to attend this year's event, her Official Miley Team Twitter page has announced. But the singer, 21, whose "Wrecking Ball" video is up for Video of the Year, is not listed among the scheduled performers on the show, which MTV will broadcast live from The Forum in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California, on Sunday.
