Monkees cancel tour The Monkees have canceled the remainder of their tour, which was to include a stop at the NYCB Theater at Westbury on Aug. 26, Newsday's Kevin Amorim reports. Ticketholders should return to the place of purchase for a full refund. "No reason has been given at this time . . . We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued support of The Monkees," read a statement on the Davy Jones Facebook Fan page.
