Neil Young files for divorce from wife Pegi Young

Legendary rocker Neil Young is divorcing from his wife of 36 years and longtime musical partner Pegi Young. Rolling Stone reports that on July 29, Young, 68, filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in San Mateo, California, where the couple lives. A hearing is set for Dec. 12. Pegi Young, 61, who has released three albums of her own and has performed with Neil on tour, was his muse for such songs as "Such a Woman," "Unknown Legend" and "Once an Angel."
