OK Go's 'Of the Colour of the Sky' is Prince-ly

OK Go has seemingly received a funk transfusion from The Purple One himself on its third studio album, "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky" (Capitol). Singer Damian Kulash adopts a Prince-ly falsetto for the first single "WTF?" and the spectacularly funky "White Knuckles" sounds like a suburb of "Erotic City." And though the lovely ballad "While You Were Asleep" tests other dreamier boundaries, on "Of the Blue Colour," OK Go has definitely jumped off the power pop treadmill and applied their cleverness in whole new directions.
