Heavy-metal godfather Ozzy Osbourne is back home following the 73-year-old rocker's surgery Monday in Los Angeles.

"I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably," he posted on his social media Wednesday afternoon. "I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery." A few minutes earlier on her own social media, his wife, English panel-discussion show host Sharon Osbourne, 69, posted a photo of the young Ozzy singing onstage and wrote, "He's feeling good!"

Sharon Osbourne had announced last week that her husband, the former frontman of Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Black Sabbath, "has a very major operation on Monday … . It's really going to determine the rest of his life." In addition to suffering from Parkinson's disease, Ozzy Osbourne (né John Michael Osbourne) fell at home in 2019, exacerbating an existing injury and requiring 15 screws to be inserted into his spine. Neither Osbourne has specified the exact nature of Monday's operation.
