Pearl Jam set for Madison Square Garden

Pearl Jam is ready to hit the road again, building a tour around headlining appearances at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Bonnaroo, while also including two shows at Madison Square Garden on May 1 and 2.

With no new album to support, the shows are expected to be a bit more freeform than usual, similar to their wide-ranging show headlining the Global Citizens Festival in Central Park last fall.

Tickets for the Madison Square Garden shows go on sale at noon on Jan. 29 through Ticketmaster.
