Prince, who had been fighting the flu for the past several weeks, was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Illinois on Friday after his plane made an emergency landing in Moline, a rep for the singer told TMZ.
The singer had performed in Atlanta Thursday night, even though he still was not feeling well, TMZ reports. The plane ended up landing at Quad City International Airport shortly after 1 a.m. and he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
TMZ is also reporting that Prince, 57, was released three hours later and is doing well. The nature of the medical emergency is unclear.
