Fresh from her surprise appearance at The Grammys, Queen Latifah is set for another high-profile appearance. She will sing “America the Beautiful” during the Super Bowl XLVIII pre-game festivities at MetLife Stadium.

Latifah presided over a wedding ceremony during Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ performance of “Same Love” at Sunday’s Grammys, even seeking special dispensation from California authorities so that the joining of 33 couples was legally binding.

The New Jersey native’s performance of “America the Beautiful” will likely be a lot less dramatic and controversial. The announcement wraps up the musical guests for the big game. Renee Fleming is set to sing the national anthem and, of course, Bruno Mars will handle the halftime show with help from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
