Surprise! Radiohead have a new album and they're releasing it Saturday.

With no advance warning, the band announced this morning plans for “The King of Limbs,” Radiohead's eighth album. It will be released in two formats initially – a regular digital-only version ($9 for MP3s, $14 for WAVs) and a deluxe version (two 10” vinyl discs, a CD, loads of artwork and an immediate download) for $48 or $53, again depending on your download file of choice. It's a departure from the release of their last album “In Rainbows,” which was a pay-what-you-want release at the beginning, though the band is releasing “The King of Limbs” entirely through their own website. (They are taking orders now.)

A physical release of the CD and vinyl album will come on March 28 through the band's TBD Records and partnership with XL Recordings.

What's it sound like? No idea. Guess we'll find out Saturday.
