Whether Rebecca Black's "Friday"-centric celebrity will last or not is debatable, but the 13-year-old YouTube sensation has already made her way into the history books, as her heavily AutoTuned homemade video crosses the 100-million-view mark.
And she did it faster than Justin Bieber's "Baby," the most-watched video of all time. It took The Bieb 67 days to pass the milestone, but Black did it in only 63 days, crossing the mark last week. (Her clip is also the second-most-discussed clip on YouTube behind "Baby.")
Black, who is spending her spring break working on new music that she hopes to release soon, has a while to go before she even gets close to becoming the most-viewed video. Currently, "Friday" is the 23rd-most-watched video ever. Who does she have to take on for the crown?
Here are the current Top 5 most-watched YouTube videos ever (in millions of hits):
1. Justin Bieber, "Baby," 520.1 million
2. Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance," 369.1
3. Shakira, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)," 331.1
4. Eminem featuring Rihanna, "Love the Way You Lie," 321.9
5. Justin Bieber, "One Time," 235.1
