Rihanna pairs well with others

Rihanna knows better than anyone it's more fun to play with friends.
The Barbados-born beauty has been the go-to girl for collaborations since she first appeared with rapper Memphis Bleek on his single "The One" in 2005 before debuting her first hit "Pon De Replay."
Since then, Riri has become one of the world's top stars using a savvy mix of reggae, R&B and pop. With all her success in blending genres, the diversity of her musical partnerships should come as no surprise. She's performed with stars of reggae/dance hall (Sean Paul, Elephant Man); R&B/pop (Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown); rock (Slash of Guns N' Roses, Maroon 5) and rap (Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, Drake, T.I., Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy, Fabolous). Ri has even shown a funny side -- she's appeared in two "Saturday Night Live" digital shorts with Andy Samberg, who played Shy Ronnie (definitely worth a trip to Hulu).
Rolling Stone magazine recently named Lady Gaga the Queen of Pop using factors such as sales figures, number of awards, social-media followers, etc. Rihanna was third after Taylor Swift. Well, we'll happily crown Riri the Queen of Collabos using the very unscientific method of "We Said So."
As her Loud Tour heads to Nassau Coliseum tonight, we look at some of our favorite Rihanna collaborations.
'Run This Town'
JAY-Z FEATURING RIHANNA AND KANYE WEST
Riri joined her mentor Jay-Z again after he appeared on her No. 1 hit "Umbrella," which went on to win a Grammy for best rap/sung collaboration in 2008. Two years later, "Run This Town," would snag the same award. She would later work with West on the single "All of the Lights" on his latest album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."
'Love the Way You Lie'
EMINEM FEATURING RIHANNA
Ri took a little heat from the National Organization for Women for the song's video, which the group claimed glorified domestic violence, a major deal given her recent experience with abuse. Still, Ri earned her sixth No. 1 single and helped Em earn his fourth.
'Live Your Life'
T.I. FEATURING RIHANNA
Using a hook first made famous by the "Numa Numa" Internet phenomenon, this infectious track went on to become a No. 1 hit.
'What's My Name'
RIHANNA FEATURING DRAKE
This No. 1 single and its steamy video helped fuel rumors the pair were a couple, which they both denied. But a recent photo of the two looking cozy in Canada has everyone wondering anew.
