The Spice Girls are reuniting for a tour — without Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice.

In a one-minute video Monday on the Spice Girls Twitter page, the remaining foursome announced a six-date British tour set for June. Tickets go on sale Friday. No indication was made of plans for a world tour.

In the video — done as a faux newscast outtake with each of the four purportedly joining from a remote location, one of which was "Spice World" — Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), 46, appears to perturb Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), 43, and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), 42, by showing up in a spangly blue dress while the others wear demure black outfits.

"Geri? We were all on the email," Bunton gently scolds her. Chimes in Brown, "It did say we were all gonna be in black tuxedos. . . . Now ask yourself: Is that a black tuxedo?" A brief back-and-forth ensues until Halliwell breaks the news that the band is going on tour, with Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), 44, adding, "Guys! Seriously! We can't be falling out now if we're going on tour." The four begin vocalizing and the tour dates appear on-screen, along with the announcement of opening act Jess Glynne.

Fashion designer Beckham, 44 — who in February told the British edition of Vogue that she did not plan to join any possible tour — said in an Instagram post Monday: "Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012! I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year. I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends."

Additionally, Brown appeared as a guest on the British panel-discussion show "Loose Women" Monday to reveal the tour. "I've been chomping at the bit to say something," she told the hosts, saying she had kept it secret for "God, it must be like nearly five, six months. Like, for-real for real. But now all the wheels are in motion."

She noted of Beckham, "Vic might join us at some point. . . . I hope so. I think it'd be a shame if she didn't," and added, "She's got a full-on life with all of her work commitments and her fashion line and her kids, so, y'know, she's just kinda not committing just yet."

The tour is scheduled to begin at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England, on June 1, and continue through June 15 at venues in Coventry and Sunderland, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; Bristol, England, and London.

The band was a 1990s phenomenon with hits including “Wannabe” and “Viva Forever.” They performed as a four-piece for two years after Halliwell quit the band in 1998, split in 2000 and last reunited at the 2012 London Olympics.
