Springsteen, E Street Band plan 5 shows in area

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's "Wrecking Ball" tour will touch down in the area for five shows starting April 3, Newsday's Glenn Gamboa reports. Tickets for the area shows -- Izod Center (April 3, 4), Madison Square Garden (April 6, 9) and Prudential Center (May 2) -- go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster. No replacement has been named for the late Clarence Clemons -- who died last year after suffering a stroke -- on saxophone, according to a band statement.
