Taylor Swift: 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'
Sure, Taylor Swift's new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (Big Machine), is another breakup song, but it's anthemlike in a slick pop way, rather than her usual modern country way. Considering Swift co-wrote it with Max Martin and Shellback of Britney Spears fame, it's amazing it still sounds like her -- a super-glossy, beat-oriented, Avril Lavigne-ish version of Swift, but Swift, nonetheless. What it signals about her upcoming album, "Red," out Oct. 22, is anyone's guess.
