The Grammys' halftime report: Foo Fighters!
Foo Fighters lead the Grammys following the pre-telecast awards, landing four awards for their album of the year nominee “Wasting Light.”
Dave Grohl and friends won best long form video, best rock song for "Walk," best metal performance for “White Limo” and best rock album.
Kanye West, who started with seven nominations, received three awards – best rap song and best rap/sung collaboration for "All of the Lights" and best rap album for "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy." Best new artist nominee Skrillex won three awards, best remix and best dance song and best dance album for “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.”
Taylor Swift won two pre-show awards for her song “Mean,” best country song and best country solo performance. “"There's really no feeling quite like writing a song about someone who's really mean to you, someone who completely hates you, who makes your life miserable, and then winning a Grammy for it."
