Tommy Ramone tribute at Lido Beach's MaliBlue Oyster Bar
Hey! Ho! Long Island fans will get to pay tribute to Tommy Ramone, original drummer for the legendary punk band the Ramones who died Friday in New York after a lengthy battle with cancer, reports Newsday's Glenn Gamboa. Former WLIR DJ Malibu Sue, My Father's Place founder Michael "Eppy" Epstein, singer-songwriter Jed Davis and other friends of Ramone will gather at MaliBlue Oyster Bar in Lido Beach at noon Wednesday. The memorial will include remembrances and performances.
