Yusuf cancels upcoming Beacon Theatre show

Yusuf, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer better known as Cat Stevens for his hits "Wild World" and "Peace Train," has canceled his upcoming Beacon Theatre show on Dec. 7 out of frustration with "extortionate" ticket prices and New York's law requiring all tickets to be transferrable. His tour, supporting his upcoming "Tell 'Em I'm Gone" album, is his first North American tour since 1976. "I'm sorry about not being able to now play in NYC," he wrote on his website. "Looks like the Peace Train is going to arrive at New York a little bit later than expected."
