New 'Transformers' teaser trailer

Paramount has released a new trailer for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," due in theaters July 1.

The clip revolves around the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing, with an astronaut named Neil -- as in Armstrong, presumably -- secretly leading a team across the "rock" while communications are severed. Guess who they discover? Here's a bit of dialog to give you a hint: "We're not alone, are we?"

The trailer has an oddly serious tone, with no hints of the playfulness that has made the franchise such a crowd-pleaser. And the face of star Shia LaBeouf is nowhere to be seen.
