Not to be outdone by Sunday's Golden Globe Awards -- and, perhaps, to upstage that ceremony -- Academy Award nominees were announced Thursday morning, a couple of weeks earlier than usual. Seth MacFarlane, who hosts the Oscars telecast Feb. 24, was joined by Emma Stone to announce 11 categories.
