Report: Lindsay Lohan goes to hospital after jail release

A minivan escorted by two police cars delivered Lindsay Lohan to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles early Monday, less than 20 minutes after the actress completed her jail sentence for parole violation.
"Lindsay Lohan was released from custody at 1:35 this morning," Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's spokesman Steve Whitmore told a throng of reporters shortly afterward at Century Regional Detention Center in nearby Lynwood, Calif., "and per a court order, she has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center, and she will now be under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department. This concludes her custody."
As part of her sentence for the parole infraction, which stemmed from a 2007 DUI conviction, the "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star was ordered to have 90 days of inpatient rehabilitation for substance abuse.
Los Angeles police staged an elaborate ruse to keep the media from reporting the starlet's doings, according to RadarOnline.com. They sent two black Cadillac Escalades from the jail to the Orange County rehab facility Morningside Recovery, which Judge Marsha Revel had initially ordered Lohan to attend before she changed her mind late Sunday night. The website said some media remained camped outside the facility early Monday.
Britney Spears stayed at UCLA Medical Center in 2008 after being taken there for treatment and evaluation during a 72-hour emergency hold.
