What's better than marrying the love of your life in a beautiful sunset ceremony? Having Stevie Nicks officiate, of course.

"A Thousand Miles" singer Vanessa Carlton and Deer Tick frontman John McCauley were the lucky couple on Friday, and they couldn't wait to share photos of their special day with fans, including those of the "Fleetwood Mac" singer carrying out her official duties.

"Thanks Stevie for marrying us!" Carlton tweeted, along with a photo of the ceremony, the bride in a long-sleeve white dress and flower headpiece that matched the one in Nicks' blonde tresses, the groom in green pants and a brown jacket.

McCauley took to Instagram to share a photo of Nicks taking care of the paperwork to make it official. "Here is Stevie Nicks doing my marriage paperwork. It's a misdemeanor in the state of Arizona if she messes it up. She's a bad -- reverend. It was an awesome ceremony. Thank you Stevie! And thank you all for the good wishes! xxoo" he wrote.

The celebrations are a much needed happy time for Carlton, who was forced to cancel fall 2013 tour dates after suffering a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy. But Carlton wrote on her website that her doctor "performed a successful surgery and removed [her] entire right fallopian tube," and that her loyal new hubby was by her side through it all. The beaming bride looked healthy and happy at the Dec. 27 nuptials, and her October tour dates have already been rescheduled for February.
