ABC announces which stars to skate

A real housewife, a rocker, an Olympian and three actors are part of the inaugural season of "Skating With the Stars," The Associated Press reports. ABC announced the cast of its new competition show Tuesday during "Dancing With the Stars." Reality star Bethenny Frankel, Motley Crüe frontman Vince Neil, ski champ Jonny Moseley and actors Sean Young, Rebecca Budig and Brandon Mychal Smith will take to the ice when the new show premieres Nov. 22. The show will have a similar format to "Dancing," with stars learning new routines each week and performing them for judges scores and viewer votes.


Actor Long suffered concussion in crash

Justin Long was injured in a minor car accident in Los Angeles days before he was set to travel to the Savannah Film Festival, People magazine reports. "He's completely fine now," a source told People, adding that the actor, 32, suffered a mild concussion in the collision. Long was due to make an appearance at the film festival to promote his movie, "The Conspirator," but had to cancel his appearance after the crash.


New Kids, Backstreet to tour together

New Kids on the Block, the biggest boy band of the late-'80s/early '90s, and the Backstreet Boys, the biggest boy band of the late-'90s/early '00s, are joining forces to form NKOTBSB, a supergroup set to tour next year, Newsday's Glenn Gamboa reports. Though details are still sketchy, the groups are expected to perform together as a single unit for at least part of the shows. They will make their debut at the American Music Awards on Nov. 21. Tour dates will be announced Monday.
