'Bachelorette' picks her man

Emily Maynard accepted a proposal from Jef Holm Sunday night on ABC's "The Bachelorette," with the couple telling "Good Morning America" Monday that Holm is relocating to Charlotte, N.C., where Maynard, 26, lives with her daughter, Ricki. Holm, 28, described by ABC as a social entrepreneur and skateboarder, said, "I'm going to move to Charlotte, but I'm going to get a separate place there, and we're just going to combine our lives. And I'm going to hang out with Ricki all the time and become a carpool dad."

Cybill Shepherd engaged to psychologist

Cybill Shepherd has gotten engaged, her spokeswoman told Newsday's Frank Lovece yesterday, confirming reports that psychologist and former jeweler Andrei Nikolajevic proposed to the "Moonlighting" and "Last Picture Show" star about two weeks ago in Manhattan. Shepherd, 62, who plays Jennifer Love Hewitt's mother on the Lifetime series "The Client List," has a daughter with first husband David Ford and twins with second husband Bruce Oppenheim. Before her marriages she had been in a long-term relationship with director Peter Bogdanovich.
