Tax troubles for Stephen Baldwin
Actor Stephen Baldwin was charged Thursday with failing to pay New York State taxes for three years, amassing a $350,000 debt, The Associated Press reports. Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said Baldwin, of Upper Grandview, skipped his taxes in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The youngest of the four acting Baldwin brothers pleaded not guilty at an arraignment and was freed without bail. The district attorney said Baldwin could face up to 4 years in prison if convicted. The actor is due back in court on Feb. 5.
DeVito, Perlman 'working on' relationship
Danny DeVito and his estranged wife of nearly 31 years, actress Rhea Perlman, are "working on" their fractured relationship, the "Taxi" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star and film director told "Extra" at a benefit concert in Los Angeles Tuesday. In a video posted Thursday, DeVito, 68, said single life is "not something you adjust to. Rhea and I are really close and actually still together, just, like, separate, but together." Are they reconciling? "Ehhh, y'know, we're working on it," he answered uncomfortably.
Post-op smiles for 'DWTS' co-host
Brooke Burke-Charvet, "Dancing With the Stars" co-host, who went public last month with her thyroid cancer diagnosis, yesterday tweeted that her surgery was successful. "I'm resting, recovering," she wrote. "Surgery went well. . . . Feels like I got hit my a car." Burke-Charvet, 41, said she was gratified that "I can talk. Losing My voice was my biggest fear." She directed an expletive at "Cancer," and expressed gratitude toward "my brilliant doctors." She added, "Thank you to all my friends and supporters, I FEEL you! I'm online, that's a good sign :)"
