City Center has added a second performance of its upcoming concert production of Irving Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun." The show will be performed Tuesday at City Center's annual gala. The second show is set for Wednesday. Megan Hilty ("Smash"), who will star as sharpshooter Annie Oakley, will be joined by Andy Karl ("Rocky"), Judy Kaye ("Ragtime") and Chuck Cooper ("The Life"). To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, the Royal Shakespeare Company (which is based in the Bard's hometown of Stratford-Upon-Avon) will present four of the best-known history plays ("Richard II," "Henry IV" parts I and II, "Henry V") in repertory at the Brooklyn Academy of Music beginning in March. The story focuses on a literary editor and a former soldier against a backdrop of the postwar American South. A new production of "Nora," Ingmar Bergman's pared-down adaptation of Ibsen's seminal modern drama "A Doll's House," will play the Cherry Lane Theatre in the West Village beginning Nov. 14. Directed by Austin Pendleton, the cast will include George Morfogen, who played Bob Rebadow on the HBO series "Oz." "Nora" has not been produced in New York since 1989, when it was performed (in Norwegian) at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.Most Popular
