Barbra Streisand to present at this year’s Tony Awards

In case a free excerpt from “Hamilton” isn’t enough audience bait for the 70th annual Tony Awards, Barbra Streisand, no less, will be a presenter on the June 12 show on CBS. Although the superstar was nominated for her 1962 Broadway debut in “I Can Get It For You Wholesale” and again for “Funny Girl” in 1964, the only time she made it to the stage was to accept an honorary Star of the Decade Tony in 1970. No word on which award she will present.
