The Broadway for Orlando recording of “What the World Needs Now Is Love” reached No. 1 on the iTunes song chart within 48 hours of its release Monday.

Dozens of Broadway stars — including Nathan Lane, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Rosie Perez — performed the Hal David-Burt Bacharach classic to raise funds for the LGBT support organization The Center in Orlando, Florida, following a gunman’s recent mass killings at a gay club in that city.

As of Wednesday, the song has been downloaded over 33,000 times and has raised more than $45,000, with 100 percent of its sales benefiting the organization.
