Martin has landed a role on the TV sitcom "Working the Engels." A replacement has not yet been announced.

THE PLAY "The Drowsy Chaperone"

WHO Geoffrey Rush

According to a new report from Canadian Broadcasting Corp. News, production on the film is expected to begin next year. Rush would play Man in Chair, who narrates the plot of his favorite musical to the audience while playing its original cast album. No other casting has been revealed.

THE PLAY "The Trip to Bountiful"

WHO Cuba Gooding Jr.

THE DEAL With very little advance notice, Gooding recently left the Broadway production of Horton Foote's "The Trip to Bountiful" to work on a film project.
