The award is creating speculation that Lincoln Center will bring back the play next season for an extended run, but a representative of the company says no plans have been completed.

 THE DEAL Director Joe <a href="/topics//Joe_Mantello">Mantello</a>, who returned to his acting roots two seasons ago to star as AIDS activist Ned Weeks in the Broadway revival of <a href="/topics//Larry_Kramer">Larry Kramer</a>'s "The Normal Heart," has signed on to play a featured role in the upcoming film version of the play, as reported by Playbill.com. The cast of the film, which will be directed by <a href="/topics//Ryan_Murphy">Ryan Murphy</a> ("<a href="/topics//Glee_(show)">Glee</a>"), will also include <a href="/topics//Mark_Ruffalo">Mark Ruffalo</a>, <a href="/topics//Julia_Roberts">Julia Roberts</a> and Jim Parsons. Not to be outdone, playwright <a href="/topics//John_Guare">John Guare</a> is set to appear in his new work, "Three Kinds of Exile" next month at the Atlantic Theater Company. He plays himself.

 THE DEAL With the Broadway revival of the 1970s hit "Pippin" about to open, it's now being reported that the Weinstein Company is looking to adapt the musical into a film. According to Deadline.com, director-writer James Ponsoldt has signed on to prepare the screenplay.

 THE DEAL The cheery <a href="/topics//ABBA">ABBA</a> musical "<a href="/topics//Mamma_Mia!">Mamma Mia!</a>," which opened at Broadway's landmark Winter Garden Theatre just after 9/11 and has played to packed houses there for more than a decade, will move to the smaller Broadhurst Theatre (currently home to the <a href="/topics//Nora_Ephron">Nora Ephron</a> play "Lucky Guy" starring <a href="/topics//Tom_Hanks">Tom Hanks</a>) later this year. In a statement, the show's producer Judy Craymer expressed gratitude to the <a href="/topics//Shubert_Organization">Shubert Organization</a> for offering "this timely opportunity, which will allow us to present '<a href="/topics//Mamma_Mia!">Mamma Mia!</a>' to delight audiences on Broadway for many years to come." Other long-running musicals that have changed theaters over the years include <a href="/topics//The_Lion_King">"The Lion King"</a> and "Chicago."
